Need Help?

Trinity believes in supporting our neighbors who are struggling to meet their basic needs like access to food, clothing, and shelter. Families in need and case workers can reach our Social Worker, Kristan Walker, by phone (205-879-1737) or e-mail to learn more about our programs and to set up a client appointment.

Trinity’s Benevolence Ministry provides financial assistance to those who are unable to pay their utility bills. Trinity’s funds are limited, so we are unfortunately not always able to provide assistance. Trinity cannot pay for rent or motel/extended stay rooms. Those requesting assistance will be required to complete an application with our Social Worker and show proof of income, address, and photo ID. Please call our office to learn if we have funds available and to make an appointment to complete an application.

Our Children’s Clothing Closet offers free clothing and shoes for children ages 0-18 to Birmingham families in need. Our closet occasionally has large items like strollers, high chairs, and pack-and-plays. Our closet is open for appointments only, so please call our office and request to speak to our Social Worker to set up a time to shop.

Once a month, Trinity’s Food Share Ministry provides free food, diapers, and occasionally household supplies to a set group of families. Our goal is to provide consistent support to families who are struggling to make ends meet. An application is required to be considered for this program, contact our Social Worker to learn how to join this program. Please note, because we have the same families in this program from month to month we are often full so we may not be able to immediately add you to the program. If we are full we can add you to our waiting list.
