Week 5 of Summer Camp
Jun. 29, 2009 Kim WoodIt’s week 5 of summer camp, and this week’s theme is “Mystery Week.”
The week will be full of mysteries, and we’ll have to use our detective tools to find clues, complete our scavenger hunt, and crack every case.
Please remember to bring a plastic water bottle with the paper peeled off on Monday or Wednesday because one of our clues will be a message in a bottle.
Maybe you can swing by and help us solve a case!
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Ps. 139:14)
Week 4 of Summer Camp
Jun. 22, 2009 Kim WoodIt’s Week 4 of Summer Camp, and our theme this week is “Cruisin’ Around the World.”
First, we’ll be cruisin’ to China and making paper dragons. Then, we’re off to Nigeria to celebrate the Zolla Festival. After that, we’ll be visiting Mexico, where we’ll be making maracas and doing the Mexican Hat Dance.
Please remember to bring a paper grocery bag for our Dragons and a large oatmeal cannister (with the top) for our drums.
We’re going to have so much fun visiting all these special places!
“I am the light of the world.” John 8:28

TCDC’s Innisbrook Fundraiser
Mar. 25, 2009 Kim WoodThanks to all of our families, TCDC’s Innisbrook fundraiser was a huge success this year! We raised $5,400.00 dollars, which we have used to purchase new equipment for the children to use on our playgrounds, gym, and classrooms. Stop by some time and see how much the children enjoy using their new tricycles, riding toys, balls and ball cart, sand tables, and more!
While the fundraiser is over, you can continue to support TCDC throughout the year by purchasing wrapping paper, gift bags, and gifts from Innisbrook online. Simply visit the Innisbrook website and enter TCDC’s school number, 104498. Since the top-seller competition is over, it is not necessary to enter a “seller number” on the next step, just click on the link that says, “Click here if you do not want to assign a seller credit.” Any purchases you make online after entering our school number will continue to generate funds for TCDC throughout the year.
Thanks again for all your help!
