John Wesley ClassAt Trinity, we believe that God calls every Christian to grow in their faith and be connected to their church family. Through these small group opportunities, we encourage and equip people to be transformed as they are challenged to learn more about Christ, experience God’s presence and serve as faithful disciples. Please browse through the many opportunities for all ages and stages of life.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a great place to get to know people and develop a sense of family. Trinity UMC offers 22 faith-building adult Sunday School possibilities. They meet at 10:00 AM. Elevate, Room 218 (Library)
A class made of college students from several campuses. Discussion and media-based.

Evolution, Room 325
An alternative Sunday morning small group with a casual atmosphere. Open format with media- and Bible-based discussion with the opportunity to ask questions and explore ideas.

Pathfinders, Room 328
This class is a mix of young adults in grad school and early career. Discussion and media-based.

Covenant, Room 310
A class for 20- and 30-smoething couples and singles. Dedicated to in-depth discussion of contemporary Christian literature.

Kairos, 330
Young adults in their late 20s and mid-30s. Discussion of faith and interactive studies on spiritual and Biblical topics.

Discovery, Room 320
Diverse group of mid-20s and 30s; singles, couples and married. Discussion of faith and social issues from a Biblcal perpective.

Gamos, Room 221
A class for couples who are engaged, newly married or beginning families. Discussion format.

Journey, Room 315
For those who have had their first child or plan to soon. Discussion format.

Ones in Faith, Room 322
A caring group of single men and women age 40 and up. Combination of Bible study, lecture and discussion.

Agape, Small Parlor
A class of caring couples and singles, mostly 40 and up, enjoying fellowship and Bible study. Biblical-based series exploring issues pertinent to Christians.

Ascend, Room 304
A dynamic class of married couples in their 30s & 40s, mostly with young children. Emphasizes life-application Bible study.

Peace, Room 326
A class for parents of older elementary and junior highs. Bible study and topical studies, discussion.

A class of married couples and singles, 40-somethings. Bible study and spiritual topics through lecture and discussion.

Koinonia, Room 309
A class of married couples, 30- & 40-somethings, with young children. Self-taught, varied spiritual studies.

Vision, Room 309
This mixed class of married couples and singles offer a friendly, supportive environment with a leader/discussion style and spiritual and Biblical topics.

AIMS, Room 324
Men and women, both married and single, ages 40+, have interactive Bible study and group discussions of events from a Christian perspective.

Aldersgate, Room 301
This vibrant group of couples and singles celebrate their Bible study lessons with hymns.

Asbury, Room 323
Established career persons and young retirees, both single and married, meet to discuss a broad range of Christian concerns and Biblical topics.

Cartwright, Fireside Room
This is a class of both single and married people of various ages and diverse backgrounds. They offer a contemporary approach to spiritual topics with open discussion for spiritual growth.

J.O.Y., Room 312 (Jesus, Others, Yourself)
Couples, ages 40+, have varied lessons, including Bible study on current events from a Christian Methodist perspective.

Fellowship, Room 225
This is a class for senior adults, both couples and singles, where old familiar hymns and inspiring lessons from a rotating group of teachers are offered.

Friendship, Wesley Hall
“Young-at-heart” couples and singles meet in this class for fellowship and service in a lecture format.
